Malkavian Roleplaying Guide
Malkavians are by far, the most difficult Clan to roleplay. It's not easy to pull off a convincing Malk, avoiding clichés and ridiculousness. Yet, there are a few simple and easy guidelines I'd like to share with you to help you create or improve your character.
The tips aren't arranged in any particular order. And they are by no means stiff rules. Instead, they should be treated as advice from the cranky old aunt who has been roleplaying with varying intensity for about a decade.
Shall we get started? We shall.
Malkavians are diverse. What makes this Clan so wonderful, is that virtually anyone can be a Malkavian. Their Embraces may s

Your family tree simply grew this way.
Your mother’s tongue cut throats as well as stone walls, but it never reached your skin. You considered this a blessing, failing to account for the million praises you never heard. Nearly every morning she faded through the kitchen and living room, reciting old sorrows to herself while you wondered what you had done to confuse her.
Sometimes she remembered to kiss you goodnight. Other times she pretended you didn’t exist when you cried fo

“Step lively, Dr. Cutter. We’ve quite a drive ahead.”
Professor David Cutter heaved the last of his bags into the trunk, and then stepped into the back of the car which waited for him. A growl of its engine quickly sent it lurching forward, and the driver turned it towards the volcanic slopes of Mt. Brisancer.
Professor Cutter was an avid researcher of volcanoes, but only in his free time. His professional field was that of magical minerals, which was the entire reason he was here. He stuck his head out the window to get a better view as they approached. What lay before him was a beautiful specimen of a stratovolcano

Two Kinds the Same - Chapter I.
Author’s note: This story takes place in the Mass Effect universe, featuring a series of canon and original characters, while focusing on the curious relationship of a human man and a turian woman during the time when the whole galaxy was marching unseen into its sinister fate... just like every 50 000 years.
A bit of romance, humour, action and some insights behind the events, which you thought you already knew everything about from Mass Effect.
Thank you to Xeno-Sapian for his fantastic and inspirational work 'A Matter of Race and Character', and his generous support in writing Two Kinds the Same. While Two Kinds the Same is an ori

On the internet it is far too easy to take what someone else has written and claim it was you who wrote it. Only our own sense of morality stops us from doing this. But unfortunately some people do not feel that sense of morality. They do not see the problem, or simply do not care.
Some people do not see fan fiction as a legitimate form of art. Some people do not realise that even fan fiction writers spend countless hours at their craft, take pride in it, show unbelievable amounts of passion for it and feel those same emotions that all content creators feel about their work—whether it be pride, or that they are simply not good enough.
